Ian Ruhter is one photographer who has been pursuing the limits of photography, constantly searching for the next level in artistic expression. He is always finding time for his projects, even while traveling and shooting Andreas with the Forum and Foursquare pros. His latest endeavor, the Wet Plate Project, takes on the exotic, and entirely old-school, collodion process of shooting and then developing film directly onto a sheet of metal. Shooting the action and then developing right in the field is painstaking and dangerous, which is probably the reason why this photographic process has never been used before in snowboarding. ESPN contributor Jesse Huffman recently sat Ruhter down to talk about the Wet Plate Project. To read more from the interview with Ian online visit espn.go.com.

Now that the Vacation World Premiere Tour has been completed and the video is available for download on www.iTunes.com we can take a look back at all of the photos collected while Andreas was on tour in Europe. View photos and read tales of too much to drink, not enough to eat, October Fest and the Balearic Sea. There wasn’t much middle ground to speak of, either full throttle rock star partying or nesting on a dark bus traveling through the night. Check out the Vacation Premiere Euro Tour recap photos on www.forumsnowboards.com and www.timpeare.com and www.fluofun.com.
