Back in Scandinavia!

I came back from the States on the 18th and got to spend one night with Marion at my place in Oslo. The next day I visited my family, it was great to see them again!

I was invited on a road trip with photographer Frode Sandbeck for a Transworld story. We started in Aare, Sweden, then Trysil, then a resort in my home town of Oslo, then Hafjell and maybe off too Hemsedal and Voss after that. Its a busy trip to say the least! We are having a blast meeting up w/different riders along the way.

Keystone Shoot

Yesterday we went up to Keystone. The mountain was closed so we had a private perfectly manicured park with trannys and jibs everywhere. They brought out a boom on a snowcat for some over head shots too. I headed up the mountain at 9am and got down around 7pm. It was a long day! Here are some photos from yesterday. Hope you enjoy!

Vans Store Opening in Denver

I flew into Denver the other day along w/Darrell Mathes, Scotty Arnold Zack Marben and Hana Beaman for a Vans Store autograph signing at the Cherry Creek mall. Now I'm up in Keystone for a photo shoot this week. We are doing some filming for the new Standard movie and some new ads for next year for Keystone.

Norway Wrap Up

It was really great to head back home to Norway and be able to spend some time w/my family during their Easter Holiday. Not only did I spend some time w/the family but also headed up to Geilo for my contest, the Andreas Wiig Invitational. The level of riding was maybe the highest I've seen at a contest ever. All the young kids coming up over here are sick! Cab double cork 12's, switch back 12's, double cork frontside and backside 10's, these are just stock tricks for these kids over there... They are the future for sure!

The final results were:

2nd Torstein Horgmo
3rd Alex Oestereng

I think I ended up 4th... I had a really good time and look forward to doing this again next year. All in all the event went great, we had over 3000 people in attendance and Timbuktoo rocked the house at the after party back at the Highland Hotel.

No I'm heading back to the states to Utah for a Snowboarder Magazine Nitro Supersession. Should be fun!

Feels good to be back home in Norway

I'm finally back home in Norway! It feels good to be back for a week or so, I haven't been here since Christmas. I was able to spend a few days at home in Oslo and then we drove up to Geilo yesterday for my contest. We had a 3 hour drive and then a practice once we arrived. Here are a few photos from yesterday's drive and practice in Geilo of Gjermund Braten, Torgeir Bergrem, Aleksander Ostreng and myself on the jump.
