The Wiig Invitational

I wanted to let everyone know about my contest that is coming up in a couple weeks. It's going to be a Big Air event on April 4th in Geilo, Norway which is about 3 hours from Oslo. The jump will be big, yet safe and good for learning new tricks. It's going to be a really fun contest with a great after party! If you are in the area please come and check out the event, I promise you will have a great time!

Idaho

A couple of days ago Torstein and I packed up the Toyota, loaded the sleds on our borrowed trailer and left Tahoe heading towards Idaho. We have been up here for a couple of days now filming in some top secrete locations....:) The Idaho days are long, driving far and snowmobiling even further into the back country to get to these super secrete spots. I wanted to post some photos but thought if I show you our super duper top secrete spots it wouldn't be a secrete anymore. So I'll just give you hints of what went down up here. Day one, we left the hotel @ 5am and returned @ 8pm. Both Torstein and I were very tired to say the least. Day 2, we drove for an hour, then snowmobiled for nearly 2 hrs each way, we both got some shots so it was a successful day! Day 3 details coming soon.... we are on our way right now!

Lately.....

Thanks for checking in. Sorry I've been out of touch for a while, I have been out filming in the backcountry ever since the last Dew Tour stop in Tahoe. It feels really good to be back in the powder and out of the park. Filming with Standard Films has been a great experience so far, I'm super stoked to be working w/the Standard crew this year. We will be filming for the next few weeks and then off to Norway for the Wiig Invitational on April 3-4.
