Andreas Wiig Places 5th in Final at Dew Tour Stop #2 Final

Despite qualifying in 3rd place on Saturday the Slopestyle Final was rough. Everyone has the 900, and 1080s only score big when back-to-back or doublecorked. Andreas, even after 1080s and backside rodeo 9s, found himself in 5th. Fellow superstar and spin machine Torstein Horgmo took 6th. Almost everyone fell in their second run. Slopestyle competitors are going to need to adapt to a new degree of insanity for Stop #3 of the Dew Tour at Mt Snow.

Today was the slopestyle qualifier at Snowbasin, Utah. The course is fun, small and tight but fun. The sun was out finally! I qualified 3rd behind Chuck G and Torstein. Finals are on Sunday @ 2:30 MST on NBC, make sure to check it out.
